Athletic Fee
The Franklin Towne Charter Athletic Fee is charged to each student athlete participating in a varsity sport. The Athletic Fee contributes towards the Philadelphia Public League Fee, field and facility maintenance and up keeping team equipment and additional supplies. The Athletic Fee will be applied to the Parent PowerSchool Account.
The Athletic Fee for the 2025-2026 will be the following:
1st Sport- $200
2nd Sport- Additional $100
3rd Sport- Additional $100

PRE SEASON PREPARATION:
-Run a mile in 10 minutes or less
-Run at least 5 miles a week
-Alternating between a sprint and a jogging/run
-Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday are cardio centered workouts. Monday, Wednesday and Friday are geared towards strength training. The recommendation is to use at least 3 of these videos a week until tryouts.
Returning players please focus on:
-Passing and carrying the ball
-Reverse stick
-Changing direction while carrying the ball
It is mandatory for any student participating in tryout to bring their completed PIAA physical forms,a mouth guard, shin guards, sneakers, cleats, and at least 3-4 bottles of water. School has a limited number of sticks available to borrow. Please wear appropriate workout attire. No tank tops allowed and shorts should be at a fingertip length or longer.
